How it works
Booking is built around your flight and your boat, not a fixed timetable. First, send us your flight number, arrival date, hotel or harbour, and how many passengers and bags. Komodo and Labuan Bajo have a tropical monsoon climate with a clear split. The dry season runs roughly April to November, with June to September the calmest months for sea crossings, the best visibility and the most daily flights into LBJ, around five to seven per day at peak. The wet season runs December to March, with December and January bringing heavier rain, choppier seas and as few as two to three flights a day. July, August and the late December to early January holidays are the busiest and priciest windows, while May to June and September to October offer good weather with fewer crowds.

The morning is when Komodo delivers. Padar sunrise trips often check in around 05:30 to 06:00, standard speedboat day trips to Komodo, Padar and Pink Beach leave around 07:00 to 08:00, and liveaboards usually ask guests at the harbour by 09:00 to 10:00 for paperwork before boarding. That timing is what makes a pre-arranged private transfer worth it.
If your flight lands after about 08:30, catching the same-day early group departure becomes very tight once you add luggage, the drive and harbour check-in, even on a 10 to 15 minute road. We track your inbound flight, hold the pick-up window, and drive straight to the jetty so you reach the boat before it casts off.
